A Full and Complete Ingredients List
There must be a LOT of cosmetics websites that are NOT listing ALL of their ingredients because, more and more, I am asked
"What else is in your makeup?".
The thought that there might be hidden ingredients is Mortifying to me! And what if someone has a Serious Alergy to a specific one
and that ingredient is not listed? ...........YIKES!
It literally boggles my mind that anyone could be so callous toward any one - especially their customers.......
So, I have compiled a list from emails of all the ingredients that I am specifically asked about:
A List of Ingredients that are NOT in Premium Minerals!
No Bismuth Oxychloride (known irritant for MANY)
No Talcum Powder (Talc Free) (Asbestos can cause cancer)
No Cornstarch (notorious for clogging pores)
No Mineral Oil (petroleum derivatives)
No Dyes and/or Artificial Color

No Coconut or Nuts** (**Except for LipGloss & lotions/skincare)

No Phthalates (Banned in Europe for damage the liver, kidneys, lungs and reproductive systems)

No Propylene or Butylene Glycol (a popular anti-freeze)
No Cocomide DEA, MEA or TEA (known Cancer causing agents, confirmed in multiple studies!!)
No PEG (Polyethylene Glycol) (a harm chemical)
No Sulfates Sodium Lauryl Sulfate ( a popular engine degreaser)
No Sodium Hydroxide (Drano!)
No Animal Testing!!

It is against Federal safety regulations to use Any product containing Ultramarine Blue, Ultramarine Violet, Ultramarine Pink, Ferric Ferrocyanide, or Chromium Oxide Green on Lips.

What about "Micronized minerals - Nanoparticles"?
We use micronized minerals (nanoparticles) in Only ONE of our products, our SuprSun... We got them specifically for that ONE product: a special Zinc Oxide and a Titanium Dioxide, neither of which are chemically enhanced - they are just a lot smaller particle size. Because of this, there is greater risk of inhaling quantities of the powder that could be hazardous, especially to small children.

About Our Sizes
|
|
Seems like every site has a different "size" jar to put their minerals in... one site lists 20ml jar, another uses 20gm, another uses 2/3oz, and yet another one claims to have put 10 grams of powder in a 20ml jar... AND New Sites aren't even telling you what you are getting!!
Why all the variations?
|
|
The jars are commonly sold buy the amount of volume it will hold... However, 20 Grams do not equal 20 Millileters and 2/3 ounce weight does not equal 2/3 fluid ounce volume! And, not all Powder Formulas weigh the same...some are quite heavy while many others are very light.
|
|
AND, the "number of tablespoons" a jar will hold is a rather "Silly" measurement! One Tablespoon of Packed Powder is MORE than One Tablespoon Loosely Scooped!
That's why we use Weight - our jars are filled, packed down, topped off
and then weighed.

Here is a "Common" breakdown on Jar Sizes normally used:

Regular: 30 gm = 25 ml = .845 fl oz

How does Jar Size relate to the amount of product you get?
|
|
Quite simply, we took each color of each item, filled a jar, tamped it down, topped it off and then weighed it.... and the fluffy, sparkley ones do Not Like to be Tamped!
("POUF" and you're covered in Hot Pink Sparkles!)
All products in a group weigh "about" the same.
(ie: CoverUp/Corrector group or Blush Group)

Since it seemed a bit silly to have to buy the same quantity of Eyeshadow(AnyWhere Minerals) as Foundations, we put the foundations in the largest jar and eyeshadow in the smallest and priced each according to it's quantity. However, there are choices for jar size for some items.

Our Foundations are approx 10 grams in our Regular sifter jar
|
|
Finishing Powders are approx 4 to 5 grams in our Medium sifter jar.
|
|
Blush, CoverUps and Bronzers
our Small sifter jars hold approx 2.5 to 3 grams OR
our Medium sifter jars hold approx 4.5 to 5 grams.

Why not just name the Jar by the product weight?
Because, with the exception of the Foundations, everything has a different weight and it would cause great confusion.
Our Before Sun Minerals are a Perfect Example! A Medium sifter jar of SuprSun Sheer contains approx 4.5 grams of powder but a Medium sifter jar of SuprSun Cameo or Pebble contains approx 7.5 grams of powder.
